The lazy days of summer are gone and that means we are back to busy school mornings. We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but it is also the one that is most often skipped due to time constraints. To combat the morning time struggle I have some Make Ahead Breakfast Recipes for Busy Mornings to start our day on the right foot.
I know with my own kids that if they don’t get a healthy and filling breakfast in the morning then they are irritable, can’t focus on schoolwork and are obsessed with snacking all day. These breakfasts start the day out right!
Hard Boiled Eggs Recipe–hard boiled eggs are great to have on hand and are perfect for breakfast or an easy snack. These easy recipe will get your perfect eggs each and every time!
Breakfast Burritos Recipes--These are a great grab and go breakfast option and are a great way to use up extra scrambled eggs. I just make them, freeze them and then warm them up when we need a quick, on the go breakfast!
Peanut Butter Granola Bites–these are the perfect quick breakfast or snack. Make them over the weekend and put them in the fridge and pull out as needed. So easy to make even the kids can do it!
Blueberry Banana Bread–My son loves when I make this! This recipe makes two loaves so I make it and put one away in the freezer for another morning. Bake once and get two breakfasts!
Banana Bread recipe–this banana bread recipe is a great way to use up bananas that got too brown and it is great because it has no eggs or nuts in it so it is allergy free!
Low Carb Egg Quiche–these protein filled, low carb egg quiche are a great grab and go breakfast option.
Healthy Apple Blueberry Muffins–these muffins are great because they use applesauce instead of oil so they are healthy for you. They are also freezer friendly so you can bake them, freeze them and defrost them individually as needed.
Blueberry Breakfast Bars–these are yum, yum, yum! Always a hit when I make them, whether it is for breakfast, dessert or just an after school snack! You can also use strawberries in place of the blueberries and they are just as delicious!
Yogurt and Granola Parfait–my kids love the mixture of yogurt, fruit and the crunch from the granola–this is a very satisfying breakfast!
