I love this idea! I’m going to have to try it and see if I can stick to it! Thank you! 😀
Donna says
Im planning on doing it- wanted to do it last year but didn’t do it.
Im going to do it in reverse though because I am more motivated now to save the larger amounts at the beginning of the year. As Christmas comes next year, I think it will be hard for me to save the larger amounts.
Candi @ A Day in Candiland says
I do this but a little different way. I think it comes out about the same. I just do it evenly. It is the best way I have ever saved for Christmas.
Jennifer at Making Our Life Matter says
I am definitely going to try this. It will be nice to have cash to spend at Christmas next year. I would probably stop 3 weeks early, so that I can use that money.

This is a great idea! I think I might reverse it, too, since fall (when we’re not speaking as much) is our lean time of year.

Hi Melanie! Did you see that I made a new graphic for the challenge where the amounts are reversed? Let me know what you think 🙂 Happy New Year!

I tried this challenge a few years back but lost steam midway through. Maybe doing it in reverse will work better since it will take less effort and $ as it progresses. Great idea. Thanks for creating a printable to go with it.

I had planned to do this in 2016 and I fell off by February or so. I am adding this saving plan to my 2017 goals.
